Dr. Sandeep Shrotri recently published two books on the Amazons and the Galapagos Islands respectively. In this open talk he will recount his experiences from the travel to these wildlife hotspots. A constellation of eminent scientists and lifelong researchers are conducting an in-depth course for bird lovers as well as research students. The participants of arthropod course visited the Lavale campus of Symbiosis International University recently to observe the insects and other arthropods that inhabit this 335 acre campus near Pune. The participants were accompanied by the scientists and experts from INHER to describe and give information on the arthropod life. The team was also joined by the students of the campus. more
